Rumour: Manchester United readying bid for Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan

Manchester United boss David Moyes wants to sign German international Ilkay Gundogan from German side Borussia Dortmund.

According to reports, Moyes is contemplating a £24 million bid to sign Gundogan from Dortmund.

Gundogan has not featured for the German side since August due to a back problem and may move due to the attracting prospect of Premier League football.

Moyes wanted to strengthen the midfield in the summer but  failed to land Cesc Fabregas and Ander Herrera  and will not want a repeat of that in this window.
