Rumour: Manchester United's Nani linked with loan switch to Inter Milan
Italian side Inter have contacted Manchester United about taking Portuguese attacker Nani on-loan for the remainder of the current season, according to Goal.
The out-of-favour winger has been constantly linked away from United over the past year but speculation has stepped up in recent months as David Moyes is ready to get rid of the winger.
Despite that, Moyes was instrumental in Nani signing a new long-term contract last summer when he took over the managerial reins from Sir Alex Ferguson.
Injuries and a lack of form have hindered Nani’s progress this season and the arrival of Juan Mata will, no doubt, push him further down the pecking order in United’s attack.
The winger is desperate to play as the World Cup approaches and has been linked with moves to Spanish side Valencia and Italian champions Juventus.
United, for their part, would consider a loan bid from Inter before the window shuts on Friday, with the Serie A club looking to get their season back on track having failed to win a match since the Milan derby on December 22th.
Nani has not scored in the Premier League this season but has created 11 chances.
