Rumour: Manchester United eye move for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Adrien Rabiot
Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on young French talentAdrien Rabiot, who currently plies his trade with Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain.
The 19-year-old is keen to leave the French giants in order to play more first-team football, especially after Laurent Blanc’s side signed David Luiz, who is capable of playing in Rabiot’s midfield position, according to the Daily Mail. Yohan Cabaye was also another addition in the middle of the park in January which has left Rabiot’s future under scrutiny.
Manchester Untied’s new manager Louis van Gaal is keen to add midfield creators as he bids to solve United’s troublesome problem. The Red Devils have been lacking a creative threat in the middle of the park and while they signed Juan Mata in January, the Dutch coach knows there is still much more to do to get the former English champions back to where they were before.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea have all been keeping tabs on Rabiot and speculation is rife as to who will snap up the teenage prodigy. With Rabiot’s time seemingly up in the capital, it is just a matter of who makes the first bid for the young talent.
