Rumour: Manchester United reject Paul Pogba set for sensational return

Juventus French midfielder Paul Pogba

According to the Express, Manchester United are plotting a sensational swoop for maverick Paul Pogba, only a season after letting him join Juventus in a multi million pound deal.

David Moyes and Manchester United are in desperate need of some inspiration and creativity in the center of the park, and the club heirarchy seem to have identified French star Paul Pogba as the ideal player to fit the profile.

The young prodigy was sold to Italian giants Juventus in 2012 by the then manager Sir Alex Ferguson due to problems with his behaviour and lifestyle. However, since his move, the 20-year old has impressed massively, attracting attention from all quarters.

The Red Devils are languishing in 7th in the Premier League with their title amibitions all but over. The newly appointed manager will hope to use this window as an opportunity to strengthen his weak midfield and attack.

A return could be on the cards after Juventus was knocked out of this year’s UEFA Champions league. However, the Italian outfit are unlikely to sell their star man this winter as they look to win the Italian Serie A.
