Rumour: Mirko Vucinic to Tottenham Hotspur?

The Montenegro striker could be on his way to Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing on Mirko Vucinic’s situation at Juventus. Following the addition of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente in the Juventus strike-force, Vucinic’s playtime at Juventus has become limited. Mirko Vucinic has so far played 7 games for the Turin club and has scored in one of them.

As per reports in Daily Star, Juventus would not be looking to sell the Montenegro striker to Spurs but would be looking forward to loan him to White Hart Lane. Mirko Vucinic was signed from Roma two years ago and is under contract at Juventus for another 2 years.

Mirko Vucinic could be a replacement for MLS-bound striker Jermaine Defoe. Emmanuel Adebayor’s future at Tottenham also looks in doubt after lack of play time under recently sacked Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas.
