Rumour: Newcastle United in for Chelsea striker Demba Ba

Barclays Premier League side Newcastle United want to buy a new striker in the current transfer window with Luuk De Jong and Demba Ba being linked.

Loic Remy’s loan period is due to expire and Shola Ameobi’s contract expires in the summer, this has prompted Newcastle manager Alan Pardew to look for a new striker.

Borussia M’Gladbach striker luuk de Jong  hasn’t featured much for the german side and may well move if first team football is offered to his, likewise for Demba Ba.
