Rumour: Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata set to join Arsenal on loan

Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata has been touted as the next big thing in world football. He is yet another Spanish youth player beginning to gain recognition, and has turned the heads of many big wigs in Europe.

Among them are Tottenham Hotspur, whose lack of goals this campaign make him an obvious target. However, sources claim that he is keen to join Spurs London rivals, Arsenal, in a loan deal, which would help the club provide much needed support to ace striker Olivier Giroud.

This would also pave the way for the exit of Danish Arsenal striker, Nicklas Bendtner, who would be desperate to find a way out of the club.

Morata has not seen much first team football at the Bernabeu, considering the wealth of talent they already have up-front with the likes of Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema. The prolific under 21 Spain striker will be hoping to earn a senior team call up to the World Cup, with his opportunity at Arsenal.
