Rumour: Roma to swoop for Jan Vertonghen if Tottenham Hotspur fail to qualify for Champions League
Recent reports suggest Italian giants Roma are keen to make a summer move for impressive Tottenham Hotspur defender, Jan Vertonghen.
The center back was unsure of his future in North London in his last interview when he said he might need to consider other options if the Spurs fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
The Belgian moved to White Hart Lane in 2012 from Ajax, and has since proven himself as one of the best defender’s in the league with commendable versatility.
If the 26-year old decides to call it a day at his current club, Roma will have to fend off massive competetion from other top European clubs to bag the talented player.
