Rumour: Tottenham Hotspur plot swoop for West Ham maverick - Ravel Morrison
The North London outfit, Tottenham Hotspur are keen to make Ravel Morrison their first buy this January transfer window.
The highly rated midfielder was sold by Manchester United amid concerns of his attitude and behavior on and off the field. However, his talents as a footballer have never been in question, as he has proved in his time under Sam Allardyce at West Ham United.
The Englishman has impressed massively since his move away from Old Trafford. He got his chance this season in the Premier League, and has grabbed it with both hands. The 20-year old has netted 3 goals and set up 2 in 15 appearances in the league for West Ham this season. The midfielder starred in West Ham’s win at White Hart Lane earlier this season, as he capped off a memorable day with a mesmerizing run to score the third goal.
Having proved his pedigree in the Premier League, New Spurs boss, Tim Sherwood is all set to trigger the £10 million release clause to make him the first signing of his era.
With West Ham all but ready to sell their asset to fund the transfer of winter targets, the deal seems likely to go through in January. This will be a major boost for Tottenham Hotspur’s top 4 aspirations this season.
