Rumour: West Ham United target Diego Milito

Diego Milito

According to Mirror, Premier League side West Ham United are targeting Inter Milan striker Diego Milito in the January transfer window.

Diego Milito’s contract with the Serie A giants expires at the end of the season. West Ham would want to avail his services for a bargain fee.

Sam Allardyce, The Hammers’ manager, is looking forward to sign new strikers and strengthen his team upfront. With club record signing Andy Carroll about to make his comeback to the side after an injury, Milito would just enhance his strike force.

Diego Milito has a bagful of experience with  him. He had scored twice for Inter in the 2010 UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

Allardyce has also been linked with moves for Emmanuel Adebayor and ex-Hammer Demba Ba of Chelsea. But he could now switch his attentions to the Argentine forward and make his move to sign him.
