Rumour: West Ham United targets Diego Forlan
Talk Sport reports, West Ham United are ready to gear a shock move for Diego Forlan in the January transfer window.
Club manager, Sam Allardyce is desperate to strengthen his upfront as club record signing Andy Carroll will take some time to return from injury.
Diego Forlan, 34, has a wealth of experience and has already played in the Premier League following his two-year spell at Manchester United. The Uruguayan forward returned to South America last year when he signed for Sporting Club Internacional and has been one of the club’s top goalscorers.
Rumours suggest, he could make another move back to Europe and West Ham are emerging as the favourites to sign him.
