Rumours: Manchester United set to bid £30 million for Lucas Moura

Manchester United manager David Moyes is after PSG’s Lucas Moura , and was in Paris to watch PSG face Bordeaux.

The 21 year old Brazilian attacker was close to join Manchester United in the past when Sir Alex Ferguson was the manager, but decided to move to PSG instead who paid £37 million for the attacker.

Alex Ferguson, who was the manager back then , had stated : “I find it quite amazing that a club can pay 45m Euros for a 19-year-old boy. When somebody’s paying €45 million for a 19-year-old boy you have to say the game’s gone mad.”

Moura has not set the Ligue 1 on fire and as a result his starting spot in the Brazil national team is in doubt.

United are in desperate need of an attacking player and since Moyes has the backing of the board, don’t be surprised if United make a big money move for the Brazilian.
