Euro 2024 star waiting for offer from Real Madrid despite interest from Liverpool - Reports

France midfielder Adrien Rabiot - currently in action at UEFA Euro 2024 - is reportedly awaiting an offer from Real Madrid, with Liverpool also in the fray for his services. The 29-year-old left Juventus as a free agent last month.

Rabiot is coming off a decent 2023-24 season with the Bianconeri, contributing five goals and three assists in 35 games across competitions. All the goal contributions came in 31 games in Serie A, where Juve finished third, behind winners Inter Milan and AC Milan.

The Frenchman also appeared four times in the Bianconeri's victorious Coppa Italia campaign. Overall, Rabiot bagged 22 goals and 15 assists in 212 games across competitions for Juve since arriving from PSG in the summer of 2019, winning one Serie A and two Coppa Italia titles.

At the ongoing Euros, Rabiot has appeared in all four games for Les Bleus, who take on Portugal in a blockbuster last-eight clash in Hamburg on Friday (July 5). Meanwhile, as per Mundo Deportivo (via Madrid Universal), Rabiot wants to join Los Blancos and is waiting for an offer from them amidst interest from the Reds and Newcastle United.

However, Carlo Ancelotti's side are well-stocked in midfield despite the depature of Toni Kroos, who's retiring from the sport following the ongoing Euros. Hence, they are not in a tearing hurry to sign another midfielder, but things could change if Dani Carvajal departs.

Real Madrid have had 11 different players - not including the retiring Toni Kroos - at the ongoing UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany. Among that group, nine of them are still active ahead of quarter-final action, which gets underway on Friday (July 5).

They are the France trio of Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Ferland Mendy. Striker Kylian Mbappe - who will join Los Blancos ahead of next season - is not included.

The others are Spain's Dani Carvajal, Nacho - who has now confirmed his exit from Madrid - and Joselu, Germany's Antonio Rudiger, England's Jude Bellingham and Turkey's Arda Guler.
