Comprised of Demyn Joel and Rahdel, Toronto-based S4G4 -- pronounced "SAGA" -- is a rising hip-hop and R&B duo. The group's debut single is "Bruce Wayne" and already has a lot of people taking notice.

I had the pleasure of doing Q&A with both Demyn and Rahdel, who are major sports fans. Rahdel is loyal to Liverpool D.C. and Demyn is a big fan of the NBA's Toronto Raptors, while both support the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs. Highlights of our interview are below, while more on S4G4 can be found online on the duo's Soundcloud page.

Rahdel, when did you first become a fan of Liverpool F.C.? Did you have family in England?

Rahdel: I don't have family in England, but growing up all my friends always loved either Manchester United and Arsenal, so I just went with Liverpool and took a liking to them instead.

What makes you loyal to Liverpool F.C.?

Rahdel: That's the team I picked growing up as a teenager and I just stuck to it. I guess I'm just loyal as a person in general, that's why.

Do you have a favorite player on Liverpool F.C.?

Rahdel: I don’t follow the current players like I did the older ones that really paved the way, but my favorite all time is Michael Owens.

When did you last attend a Liverpool F.C. match?

Rahdel: I never have, but I would love to go one day when we tour the UK.

Liverpool F.C. aside, are you a fan of other teams or people from the Liverpool area?

Rahdel: No, I'll be quite honest, I am not.

I understand that you are also a fan of the Maple Leafs. How did you get into them?

Rahdel: Toronto, and Canada as a whole is hockey country so we are always representing and rooting for the Leafs. The impact it has on the city when the Leafs win is a lot bigger than if any of the other teams in our city win.

Demyn, were the Raptors always your favorite team in the NBA? When did you first get into them?

Demyn: No, my favorite team was initially the Philadelphia 76ers when they had Allen Iverson in his prime. I have always been a Raptors fan, being from Toronto, but I really got behind them when Chris Bosh became the franchise player.

Did you play basketball much growing up?

Demyn: Yes I do heavily. I played a lot in my high school days as part of the school teams.

Did you ever make it out to Raptors games?

Demyn: Yes I have been to a lot of the games and the crowd is crazy. We have the best fans in the NBA.

Who is your all-time favorite player from the Raptors?

Demyn: I would have to say, Vince Carter.

How do you think the Raptors did this season?

Demyn: They did amazing in the season, a regular season that is. But I am disappointed with how they played against the Cavaliers and how many leads were blown in games.

Who's the bigger fan of the Maple Leafs, you or Rahdel?

Demyn: Myself, because Rahdel does not really watch hockey as much as I do.

What is coming up for S4G4?

Rahdel: More music, more singles. It may even morph into a cohesive project. Very excited to share visuals and videos for "Bruce Wayne," "Simple" and "Splash" with the world as well. We are going to continue to do club and live appearances, but we also plan to throw a big event in our city that is based completely on us performing our released music for the fans.

Demyn: More music on the way. Official videos for "Bruce Wayne," "Simple" and "Splash," and the first concert style show in our city of Toronto/Mississauga within the next few months, which is in the works.

Is there a career accomplishment that you are most proud of?

Rahdel: I am proud of my ability to engineer and the level of artistry and chemistry that I and Demyn have. Nothing happens overnight and everything in this word takes hard work. Learning how to mix and master music on a technical level as well as combining our talents to produce the music that so many people are starting to love is no different. I am just generally so proud of how far we have come.

Demyn: Reuniting with the team and shooting our first music video "Bruce Wayne." We really got to see the city of 'Sauga support us and get behind us and it was really overwhelming so I consider it a huge milestone.

What is your favorite song to perform live?

Demyn: "Bruce Wayne."

Rahdel: That for sure has to be "Bruce Wayne."

What is the last concert you went to for fun?

Demyn: The Somo concert at Mod Club.

Rahdel: French Montana at Rebel.

Finally, any last words for the kids?

Rahdel: Always believe in yourself first and do things out of passion. If you follow your passion, then the money and success will follow. Do it for the love of it and how it truly makes you feel, because that's the only way you will really ever be happy doing something you put so much time into.

Demyn: As cliché as it is you gotta stay positive despite your obstacles because they never last as long as you stick to your focus and overcome them. So just keep persevering one day at a time.
