Young footballers with potential emerge every day. Kids with aspirations of making it to the big leagues. Kids eager to make a name for themselves. It is few, however, that end up making football a profession. Some manage to scrape by and make it a career. While others, far in between, manage to be somebody in the game...
The 2018-19 season is well underway, and no shortages of wonderkids have emerged all over the European Continent. They're labelled wonderkids due to their outstanding quality far superior to that of their age.
Vinicius Junior at Real Madrid, hoping to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo, is a prominent example of what these kids have to offer. Callum Hudson-Odoi, Jadon Sancho, Joao Felix and Phil Foden the list goes on and on. All hoping to reach the very top of the sport.
Those young gems who have already captivated the minds of scouts from around the globe. Those young kids who, most certainly than not, will command big transfer fee's from their respective clubs. Around the globe you can find dozens of kids, filling local headlines. All labelled the next Messi or Ronaldo. It is very few, however, that have their head and mindset in the right place.
Some have already accomplished, what others can only dare dream to achieve in a life-time. While others, have barely dispossessed their senior counterparts. Whatever the case, in this slideshow I identify young gems who have already showed glimpses, of what promises to be next generations top stars!
Today's top quality footballers are only getting older, it would be no surprise to see one of these wonderkids fill such shoes left by the great one.
