In came the likes of Christian Eriksen, Roberto Soldado, Erik Lamela amongts four others who were expected to tear away the Premier League defences with their sheer brute force, imagination and captivation personified. Luke Shaw:
It’s not unknown that Spurs have a headache in the left side of defence. While Jan Vertonghen has put in shifts at left back, Danny Rose has far been effective. The Independent reports that Tottenham are considering a move for Southampton full-back Luke Shaw should they fail in their attempts to sign Fabio Coentrao from Real Madrid. Shaw, 18, considered one of the hottest prospects in the Premier League, has entered Spurs’ thinking as they look to address a vulnerability in the left-back position. The Saints however are in no mood to let go off their prized youngster and it looks like they might agree to no less than £10m(according to the same report from Independent) for the 18 year old.
