Serie A News: Paulo Dybala admits he would love to reunite with Paul Pogba
What's the story?
Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has admitted that he would love to reunite with former teammate and Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
In case you didn't know...
Pogba and Dybala previously played together at Juventus before the former left for Old Trafford in 2016. Together, the duo won a number of titles such as the Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana with the Turin outfit.
The French midfielder was at the centre of controversy in 2018 as his year was marred by feuds with former United boss Jose Mourinho, coupled with several reports of his departure from the club.
Despite having been given a fresh new start under Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Pogba continues to be linked with his former club Juventus.
Meanwhile, Dybala has been in the headlines as reports continue to circulate of his move to either one of the two Manchester sides.
The heart of the matter
Dybala has now opened up about how much he would love to play with his old teammate again. In an interview with French outlet Telefoot, the Juventus star said (via Metro UK), "I’d always like to play with someone of his [Pogba's] level. Whatever decision he makes, I always wish him the best of luck."
The forward also discussed the Bianconeri's Champions League hopes, stating that Atletico Madrid and Liverpool are the worst sides to be facing in the competition.
"The Champions League is the main objective for us this season and we’ll do everything we can to win it. Atletico Madrid are, along with Liverpool, the worst side we could’ve picked in the draw."
What's next?
While Juventus are set to face Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana on Wednesday, Manchester United will lock horns with Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.
