November's power ranking is here!
November's power ranking is here!

This season, the Serie A has gained a sleuth of new fans, partly due to the transfer of you know who to the defending champions in the summer, and also the gradual rise of the other clubs to raise the level of competition for the top spot.

The international break seemed to be the perfect time for us to see how the Italian top flight is faring so far.

Juventus have soared through the competition, having their best ever start to a league season, with 11 victories and a draw after 12 matchdays.

Napoli is the club closest to them, sitting six points behind at 28, looking the team most likely, along with the Mauro Icardi lead Inter Milan, to cause the Old Lady any headaches in the title 'race' this season.

With 12 matchdays having been played so far, we have the brand new Serie A Power Rankings out. This monthly feature will keep you updated with the Top 10 players in the Serie A based on current form. So let's dive right in, shall we.

#10 Allan (SSC Napoli)

Allan is creating some of his best ever performances under Ancelotti, and his influence over the team has grown since the departure of Jorginho along with Sarri.
Allan is creating some of his best ever performances under Ancelotti, and his influence over the team has grown since the departure of Jorginho along with Sarri.

Napoli's midfield stalwart Allan has played part in every Serie A game so far this season, averaging 2.9 successful tackles, 1.4 successful key passes per game, having a tackle success of 68.1%.

He acts as the glue that holds the Napoli team together, and let's the more attack-minded players such as Insigne, Callejon, Mertens etc. to create a larger impact further up the pitch.

He's had a superb November so far for his club, having big impacts in games against Genoa and Empoli so far, but his overall play since the start of the season has been more than worthy of some recognition.

His quiet brilliance has not gone unnoticed by us, as he sits at No. 10 only because of the level that the other players are pushing themselves to this year, showcasing to us the best Serie A we've seen in quite some time.
