Suso became only the second ever Spanish player to score in the Milan derby

The veritable feast of football that was the weekend of 18-20th November saw a great many records broken, with Cristiano Ronaldo heavily featuring with a hat-trick in the Madrid derby. Manchester United and Arsenal also played out an entertaining draw, while Der Klassiker and the Derby della Madonnina were highly thrilling as well.

There were plenty of goals, clean sheets and red cards across Europe’s Top 5 leagues, and there were a whole host of intriguing stats to pop up.

Serie A

2012 – The last time an AC Milan player scored twice against Inter Milan was on 6th May, 2012, when Zlatan Ibrahimovic was on the scoresheet, followed 4 years later by Suso.

23 – Juventus have won 23 consecutive home games, two short of the all-time Serie-A record, also by the Bianconeri.

2 – Suso is only the 2nd ever Spanish player to score in a Milan derby. The 1st to do so was former Inter Milan great, Luis Suarez.

9 – Inter Milan have claimed 9 points from losing positions, the most of any team in Serie A this season.

25 – Atalanta’s total of 25 points from 13 games is their best ever total in their Serie A history.

10 – Andrea Bellotti is the only player in Europe’s top 5 leagues to score 3+ goals with his left foot, right foot and head.

2000 – Moise Kean becomes the first player born in this millennium to appear in Serie A.
