Spain vs England Head-to-Head stats and numbers you need to know before the final of Euro 2024

Spain will face England at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday in the 2024 European Championship final. La Roja have been perhaps the best side at Euro 2024 so far and will be looking to go all the way this weekend as they aim to reclaim the continental title for the first time since 2012.

After seeing off host nation Germany in the quarterfinals, they locked horns with France in the final four of the competition on Tuesday and found themselves a goal down less than 10 minutes after kick-off.

Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal, however, spurred a comeback for the Spaniards, curling in a brilliant effort midway through the first half before in-form Dani Olmo got in on the act just minutes later to secure Luis De La Fuente's men passage to the final.

England, meanwhile, struggled to impress in the group stages of the tournament but have now turned a corner in the knockout stages. They faced off against the Netherlands in the semifinals during the week and once again went behind but responded in familiar fashion.

Although Harry Kane's equalizer from the spot was shrouded in controversy, the Three Lions were the significantly better side in the matchup and were rewarded for their efforts as Aston Villa talisman Ollie Watkins came off the bench to drill home a brilliant winner late in the game.

Gareth Southgate's men also made it to the final in the previous edition of the Euros but were defeated on penalties by Italy and will hope they can find better luck this time around and finally 'bring home' their first-ever European Championship.
