Spanish papers reveal James Rodriguez's price
After his stellar performances in the World Cup, James Rodrigues has turned into a star. Many clubs are looking forward to signing this Columbian superstar who has managed to steal the limelight from none other than the host country’s darling-Neymar, which in no way is a mean feat.Owing to that, he’s stock in the transfer market is growing by the day. After Monaco saying that they are not looking to sell him, the price wars have gone even higher.
The latest developement in the grapevine is that the newspapers in Spain and Madrid apparently know how much Real Madrid will have to shell out in order to obtain the services of the dynamic winger. And if sources are to believed, Madrid will have to pay through their noses as the estimated price tag he is associated with is said to be €75m. It’s a sizeable sum, considering Monaco bought him for £40m.
Earlier, James admitted that he won’t be moving to Premier league heavyweights such as Arsenal and Manchester United as the game there is too physical for his liking. "I've said in the past that I’d like to play in Spain one day, because it is a league that is good technically, and where you get a lot of touches on the ball, which is my style," he said. The rumour market was abuzz with the possibility of him and his teammate Radamel Falcao moving to Real Madrid as the only other Spanish club which can afford him,Barcelona, is already pursuing Luiz Suarez.
