Sportskeeda's take on the EPL transfer rumours of 24th June
There are no guarantees in the football transfer window, as things change very quickly. The market never sleeps, and agents keep working to get their clients the best deal. In the last few days we’ve analysing the latest transfer rumours, and giving our views on them. Today we discuss Juventus’ chances of signing Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, Tottenham’s failed bid to sign Vincent Janssen, and West Ham’s ambitious bid for Alexandre Lacazette.
Alexis Sanchez
Sanchez is a long-term transfer target for Juventus, and reports suggest they’re ready to renew their interest in the Chilean star. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have identified Sanchez as a replacement for Alvaro Morata. Belgian stars Romelu Lukaku and Michy Batshuayi are also on the wishlist of the Serie A club.

I would like to wish Juventus luck in trying to sign Alexis Sanchez, no chance guys x

Experts say: The experts don’t have anything to add to this, and that’s probably because they haven’t taken it seriously.
Our take: Sanchez still has a couple of years in his contract at Arsenal, and the Gunners should possibly renew his contract quickly, but a move to Juventus this summer is unlikely. Arsenal will demand quite a huge transfer fee for Sanchez, and he is also one of the highest-paid players in the league, so it’s unlikely the Serie A club will agree to pay that.
The Italian media keep insisting Sanchez doesn’t want to stay any longer in London, and it remains to be seen if there is any truth in that, but there is no pressure on Arsenal to sell him yet.
Chances of it happening out of 10: 1/10
Vincent Janssen
Reports have earlier suggested Dutch international Vincent Janssen had already visited White Hart Lane to hold discussions with Tottenham and knows their plans for the future.
The Latest reports suggest AZ Alkmaar have already rejected three bids from Tottenham for Janssen and the Premier League side’s last bid of €14m was rejected by AZ’s technical director, Max Huiberts, as the Eredivisie side want at least €20m for Janssen.
Twitter says:
And now Vincent Janssen's been linked to Spurs? Don't let him anywhere near Poch. No no no no no!

Janssen was the Eredivisie's top scorer last season. And just 21 years old. Pochettino knows what he is doing.

Experts say: Local newspapers suggest Mauricio Pochettino is keen on adding options up front and has personally scouted Janssen.
Our take: There are also reports Tottenham have agreed to pay Janssen wages worth €3m a year, and it seems the North London side are genuinely interested in signing him. AZ and Tottenham could reach an agreement in the upcoming days, except if AZ decide to further increase their asking price or another big club enter the race to sign him.
Chances of it happening out of 10: 8/10
Alexandre Lacazette
French newspaper L’Equipe report West Ham have made a €52m bid for Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette, after a bid of €40m plus €4m in bonuses was rejected in mid-May. It is reported the Frenchman is also wanted by Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur.
Twitter says:
West Ham want Lacazette or Batshauyi but won't get either. The extra TV money doesn't change the fact that they are still West Ham.

The reason Lacazette talks about Payet is cos he's French not cos he's joining West Ham so to speak
— Dieu-mitri Payet (@JamesSneddon_) June 16, 2016
Experts say: French journalists reckon Lacazette is not keen on a move to West Ham, and might stay at Lyon for another season if he can’t find a Champions League club this summer.
Our take: A transfer to West Ham does look difficult. Lacazette would surely want to take his time before making a decision, and West Ham only stand a chance, if the other mentioned clubs don’t come in for him. The Hammers should also be prepared to offer the player a financially tempting offer.
