Sportskeeda's take on the EPL transfer rumours of 8th July

Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a move away from Arsenal

In our latest section on transfers, we’ve been analyzing the best transfer rumours doing the rounds. Most of the Premier League clubs have started their pre-season training but are still trying to make further additions to their squad.

Today, we talk about the future of Alexis Sanchez, Leonardo Bonucci, and Jakub Blaszczykowski. We have done an in-depth analysis on the English Premier League transfer rumours of 8th July.

Alexis Sanchez to Juventus

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are interested in signing Alexis Sanchez to replace Alvaro Morata. The Serie A club are ready to offer €30m plus €5m in bonuses for the player, but Arsenal have asked for €45m-€50m.

Experts say: Italian media keep pressing that Sanchez is not happy at Arsenal and that Juventus are already in touch with his agent.

Our take: Sanchez has only a couple of years left on his contract at Arsenal, and they do need to convince him to sign a contract renewal soon. Saying that, there is no need to press the panic button just yet. The reality is, Juventus can’t afford him, and we really doubt Arsenal have even asked for anything. At this moment, there is absolutely nothing concrete in this.

Chances of it happening: 2/10

Leonardo Bonucci to Manchester City

Pep Guardiola is interested in signing Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci at Manchester City. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Premier League club have made a €60m offer for the player. The player has also been offered a five-year contract worth €8m a year, but Juventus are ready to reject any bids from the Premier League giants.

Experts say: Italian media believe Juventus will keep Bonucci in Turin beyond summer, but the player could be tempted by the money offered by Manchester City.

Our take: Juventus are already negotiating a deal for Paul Pogba with Manchester United, and have already lost Alvaro Morata to Real Madrid. It’s really difficult to see them losing Bonucci as well this summer. The player likes Juventus, and a new contract offer could convince him to stay at the Serie A club.

Chances of it happening: 4/10

Jakub Blaszczykowski to Liverpool

Jakub Blaszczykowski hasn’t featured regularly for Dortmund in recent seasons

According to Bild, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on a reunion with Jakub Blaszczykowski. The Polish winger spent the last season on loan at Fiorentina. Baszczykowski, however, wants to stay at Dortmund this season. He could cost Liverpool between €5m-€7m.

Experts say: The experts are quite silent on this one, and that’s probably because they can’t spell or pronounce his name.

Our take: Blaszczykowski had an impressive Euros campaign, but it’s difficult to say if Klopp is really interested in signing him at Liverpool. Jordon Ibe is leaving Liverpool this summer, but the Reds still have many options in attack. Bild have linked dozens of players to Liverpool, since the arrival of Klopp, and haven’t been reliable at all.

Chances of it happening: 5/10
