Top 10: Ten of the highest goalscoring teams and goalscorers this season
With the year 2014 coming to an end in just 10 days, we figure out which team has been the most attacking team in terms of goals this season, and not surprisingly, Spanish giant Real Madrid are clear on top with 55 goals coming from the Blancos.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been Madrid’s top marksman with 25 goals in his bag, followed by Karim Benzema (8), Gareth Bale (7), James Rodriguez (5) among the other contributors.
Pep Guardiola-led Bayern Munich are second in the list and are closely followed by Barcelona and Chelsea and Marseille in the list.

Looking at individual performances, as mentioned earlier, Ronaldo has been standing out easily as Europe’s top marksman. However, the performance of Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette has been quite a surprise as the 23-year-old takes up the second spot in the top goalscorer list with 15 goals from 18 appearances, one more than third placed Sergio Aguero and two more than Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.
