Andy Carroll moved to Liverpool from Newcastle United in January 2011 for a whooping £35 million that made him the most expensive British footballer till date.

He was then loaned to West Ham United in summer 2012 and he spend the entire season at the London club. On 19th June 2013 Carroll made a permanent switch to West Ham from Liverpool.
