Stats: Premier league table 15, 10 and 5 years ago

The English Premier League has seen some big games and a some surprises in its history. Over the years, the “big 4″ have dominated the table with Manchester United arguably being the best in the league.

Below are the standings from the 1997/98, 2002/03 and 2007/08 season.

1997/98

Arsenal captain Tony Adams with Arsene Wenger

This was the last season for Beckham in United colours. He was replaced by Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the season
