Lewandowski was in fine goalscoring form for Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund hitman Robert Lewandowski had another fruitful season for the German giants. He found the back of the net 36 times in 48 games, an improvement of 6 goals over the 30 that he scored in 2011-12. Lewandowski was in top form in the Champions League, having played a pivotal role in the club’s run up to the final of the tournament. He scored 10 goals in 12 matches, 4 of them coming in the semi finals against Real Madrid.
