Stats: Top goalscorers in Europe's Top 5 Leagues
Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player in Europe’s top five leagues (EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1) to score more than 10 goals this season.
With another La Liga hat-trick, against Athletic Bilbao over the weekend, he has now equalled the La Liga record for most hat-tricks in history.
The Portuguese forward now has 13 goals in the League – 17 in all competitions.
He is followed closely by Marseille’s Andre-Pierre Gignac and Chelsea’s Diego Costa who have both scored 9 goals each in Ligue 1 and the Premier League respectively.
Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette and Barcelona’s Neymar complete the top five with 7 goals apiece while Carlos Tevez, Lionel Messi and Wissam Ben Yedder have six goals each.
