Stoke City keeping tabs on Arsenal defender

Arsenal right back Carl Jenkinson is attracting attention from Stoke City, West Ham, Wigan and Fulham. The young English player is wanted on loan at Stoke but Wenger wants to hang on to him. Wenger believes that the young player will be needed at the Emirates stadium as he plans to rotate his squad for the rest of the games.

First choice right back for the Gunners, Bacary Sagna, has 18 months left on his contract and he has not yet signed a new one. Reports say that Sagna may be heading to Middle East or Inter Milan.

Wenger rewarded Jenkinson with a new long-term contract last year and with Sagna struggling to maintain form, Jenkinson may get a few games to start.

Jenkinson believes that he can soon be the first choice. Jenkinson an Arsenal fan, has had one cap for England and has signed a new long-term contract last year.
