Sunil Chhetri, Jackichand Singh and Robin Singh undergo medicals prior to ISL auction

Sunil Chhetri became the first Indian to score 50 goals for the National team

The talisman of the Indian National team, Sunil Chhetri, 2015 I-League player of the year Jackichand Singh and Bengaluru FC’s Robin Singh underwent mandatory medicals before the ISL auction scheduled to be held on the 10th of July. Chhetri, who missed the first edition of the ISL is the star attraction in this season’s ISL.

Even though India lost 1-2 to a much lower-ranked Guam, there was one positive that Indian fans took from the game. Sunil Chhetri became the first player to score 50 goals for the national side. He has now scored 9 goals in his last 11 matches for the national side and ISL clubs would love to cash in on his scoring streak.

Jackichand Singh, who won many admirers for his performances in a Royal Wahingdoh shirt, will also be a player that many teams would like to get their hands on. He was called up for his international debut by Stephen Constantine against Nepal and has played every match since. Even though the 23-year-old has not been able to replicate his club form for his country yet, there is no doubting his talent.

Chhetri is the most expensive player in the draft with a base price of Rs 80 lakh while Robin Singh and Jakichand have base prices of Rs 40 lakh and Rs 20 lakh respectively.

Sunil Chhetri, Robin Singh, Jackichand Singh among others undergo their medicals ahead of the first ever 'Player Auction' in the #HeroISL.
