Bengaluru FC
Bengaluru's second half brilliance continued as they bounced back from being down in the first half to a comprehensive performance in the second half.
Miku and Chhetri scored today to tame East Bengal with ease.
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (7/10) : Sandhu was barely tested and was up to the task on the few occasions when East Bengal looked dangerous. However, he seemed little nervous in few instances in the first half. He came out mindlessly and was given a lucky escape early in the first half, with just a yellow card instead of a potential red card.
Juanan (8/10) : Juanan cut off any supply from the right to keep East Bengal strikers in check.
John Johnson (8.5/10) : Johnson marked Kromah heavily and didn't give any space for the African to exploit.
Subhasish Bose (7.5/10) : The Left Back had a decent game but was constantly taken on for a ride by Laldanmawia Ralte. Bose was well beaten on pace by Ralte on several occasions.
Rahul Bheke (8/10) : Bheke equalized for BFC late in the first half, allowing BFC to grow into confidence. His performance at the right was a big obstacle for Katsumi Yusa. His long throws were also threatening for East Bengal.
Lenny Rodrigues (7/10) : Rodrigues was not effective in the midfield as he gave away possession way too cheaply.
Erik Paartalu (8.5/10) : Paartalu's height allowed Bengaluru to test East Bengal with aerial balls from corners and crosses. Paartalu was also responsible to keep off all the corners of East Bengal except the one ending up in the back of the net.
Victor Perez (7.5/10) : Perez missed a sitter in the first half and was also a disappointment during attacks down the pitch.
Udanta Singh (7.5/10) : Udanta had a tough day in the office as his pace and agility were kept in check by Lalramchullova. His crosses were also not as accurate as they usually are in other matches.
Miku (8.5/10) : Miku was kept fairly quiet in the first half until the floodgates opened in the second half. His calm and cheeky finish put Bengaluru 1-3 ahead. He was a constant threat for East Bengal throughout the game.
Chhetri (9/10) : Chhetri's spot-kick put Bengaluru FC ahead. He scored his second moments before the full-time whistle with a header to put the game to bed.
SUBSTITUTES
Toni Dovale (7.5/10) : The substitutes delivered in some good lobbed balls but could not create much of an impact in terms of exploiting the depleted East Bengal defence in the second half.
