1. Chelsea over-power Brentford

2. Manchester City progress to fifth round of FA Cup

3. Australia win ICC Women’s World Cup for the sixth time

Australian women had more than a score to settle with the West Indies when they squared off in the summit clash of the ICC Women’s World Cup at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. The women in yellow put up a thoroughly professional display to win the 2013 World Cup, pipping West Indies by 114 runs.

4. South Africa win the series by beating Pakistan

South African cricketer AB de Villiers plays a shot on day four of the second Test between South Africa and Pakistan in Cape Town at Newlands on February 17, 2013. South Africa reinforced their status as the world’s number one Test team when they beat Pakistan by four wickets.

5. Liverpool beat Swansea City 5-0

6.  Rafael Nadal is back on track

7. Chris Paul wins MVP award

Chris Paul became the first Los Angeles Clippers player to be NBA All-Star game MVP, scoring 20 points and handing out 15 assists in the West’s 143-138 win over the East.

8. Azarenka reclaims Qatar title by beating Serena Williams

9. 10-man Real Madrid clinch fourth straight home win

Real Madrid recorded their fourth consecutive home league victory with a 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano on Sunday despite playing for 72 minutes with 10 men, at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid on February 17, 2012.

10. Brendon McCullum leads New Zealand to victory

New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum bats as England’s Jos Buttler looks on during the one day international cricket match in Hamilton on Febuary 17, 2013. McCullum led New Zealand to a dramatic three-wicket win over England with heroic support from an injured Martin Guptill.

11. Juan Martin del Potro wins Rotterdam Open

Juan Martin del Potro underlined his indoor credentials as he overcame a bleeding nose to beat Frenchman Julien Benneteau 7-6 (7/2), 6-3 in the Rotterdam Open final on Sunday.

12. John Merrick wins his first PGA title
