The Footy Mumble: No(u) Camp for U? Witch Please!
It seems like Liverpool fans are not alone anymore when it comes to consoling themselves with the glory of the past, while hiding from the failures of the present. A.C Milan too have joined the club, led by none other than the coach Massimilano Allegri himself !
The Italian club has seen an exodus of players recently, with top but aged stars like Gattuso and Seedorf leaving the club, and sales of Zlatan Ibrahamovic and Thiago Silva further weakening the club.
Which has served only for the gaffer to bemoan about the loss of top stars like Nesta, Inzaghi and Gattuso, saying he wished he had the chance to coach them when they were younger by 7 years.
While Allegri does some wishful thinking,
The Sun seems to be acting up again as claims of ex-Chelsea superstar Didier Drogba moving to Arsenal buzz around the transfer market again.
These claims of Arsene Wenger’s ‘desperation’ to replace Robin van Persie, were backed by rumors of Wenger crying in the middle of Trafalgar Square last night.
A small mob rushed to the spot but only found Manchester United fans singing “He scores when he wants”, in praise of their new superstar signing.
If rumors are to be believed, FIFA 13 will not be featuring Barcelona’s Camp Nou after EA failed to reach an agreement with the club over licensing.
Fanatical Barca fans have already started announcing their decision to not buy the game and are encouraging others to do the same. Real Madrid fans, on the other hand, will be happier now that they can avoid being thrashed by the Blaugrana at that stadium, in the virtual world at least!
Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has been banned for six months! Nope, not for doping this time around. The player has been banned off the roads for six months after getting caught for speeding.
And to top it, it was the third time he had been caught for doing so, and all occurred on the same stretch.
Although he tried to get off the ban by saying he needed to drive his kids to school, we at the Mumble think it had more than a bit to do with John Terry missing out on training with England and returning home, if you know what we mean.
Men already cry about the kind of wives they have. Not being allowed to watch football 24×7 or grow a beer belly as the season progresses.
But taking it to another level is Adelaide Tawiah, wife of former Blackpool ‘keeper Richard Kingston, who claimed on TV about her being a witch and having cursed her husband to ruin his career!
And in the ultimate show of love, the player has defended his wife, denying his wife was a witch. And the lady in question too has now denied it, claiming it was a spirit which had taken hold of her, and which had spoken about being a witch.
Heart warming or heart chilling?
