Thierry Henry is a retired French professional footballer and current football coach. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all time and is particularly famous for his time at Arsenal and Barcelona. Henry began his professional career at Monaco under manager Arsène Wenger. He won the Ligue 1 title in 1997. His stint at Juventus was brief and less successful, leading to his transfer to Arsenal. Henry flourished at Arsenal under Wenger, becoming the club's all-time leading scorer with 228 goals. He won two Premier League titles and two FA Cups with the club. He returned briefly on loan in 2012. Henry won numerous trophies, including two La Liga titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2009. Henry ended his playing career in Major League Soccer with the New York Red Bulls.


Henry earned 123 caps and scored 51 goals for France. He was part of the squad that won the 1998 FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Euro 2000.
