Tim Sherwood favourite to be Tottenham manager?
After Andre Villas Boas’s sacking as the Tottenham Hotspur manager, Tim Sherwood has now been appointed the interim manager at Tottenham Hotspur FC. Tim Sherwood has also played for Tottenham in his career as a player.
According to Dailymail, Tim Sherwood, Chris Ramsey and Les Ferdinand will now take charge of the first team. Steffen Freund and Tony Parks will continue to be a part of the coaching staff.
Tottenham has disappointed it’s fans after it’s dismal start to the season. They currently stand in the 7th position with 27 points after a 5-0 thrashing at White Hart Lane by Liverpool. They had also lost 6-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad stadium. After spending a lavish 110 million pounds on new players, the Tottenham board and it’s fans would be looking for victories against big teams and also a Champions League qualification.
Tim Sherwood who will now be the interim manager of Tottenham would be appointed as a manager on full time basis if his managing skills would bring Tottenham success. The 47 year old English National will be facing West Ham in the Capital One Cup quarterfinal in his first game as a manager.
