When SPAL was well positioned to win the game, Udinese came back into the game with two late goals. Bram Nuytinck headed a goal from a difficult angle to make it 2 -1. The goal was assisted by Jakub Jankto with a neat cross. Udinese made it 2 - 2 with the help of a penalty goal from Cyril Théréau.

Lucas Rizzo scored a 94th-minute goal to give the home side a thrilling win. Mirco assisted Rizzo which he converted from the left side of the box to the bottom right corner.
