The FIFA World Cup 2018 ended with France being crowned as the champions of the world and one of the major, if not the most essential element for their success, was the 19 years old Golden Boy Kylian Mbappe, who is set to become one of the best players in the world in next 5 years.

The regular football season has slowly started taking shape and in few weeks we will see many experienced stars rising to occasions for their squads among them, some totally unknown names will have the opportunities to make a name for themselves.

So, let's discuss the potential young superstars for this season:

#10 Marco Asensio

Girona FC v Real Madrid CF - La Liga

Marco Asensio has already been called up for the Spanish national squad on several occasions. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder didn't disappoint his fans as he delivered some remarkable performances.

But before being called up for his national side, Asensio was performing consistently for Los Blancos in the star-studded squad.

He played 32 La Liga matches in the 2017-18 season while starting 19 matches. His scoring ability from distance makes him stand out.

#9 Vinicius Junior

Flamengo v Parana - Brasileirao Series A 2018

Real Madrid have put their hopes to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo on the 18-year-old Brazilian left winger who just completed his transfer to Real Madrid for a transfer fee around €45 m euros.

In his previous season, Vinicius was not a regular starter for his club but was frequently used as a sub to have an impact on the game by coming late. Junior is a player with amazing technical ability and skills which makes him a sensational wing player.

After Ronaldo's shock move to Turin this summer Los Blancos are in desperate need of a talented forward like him to support Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.
