1. David Luiz to Barcelona

With the Catalan club in desperate need of a Centre Back, it is widely speculated that ‘Tata’ Martino will be launching a £29 million bid to lure the Brazil international to the Camp Nou. However, with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho having ruled out a move for Luiz in the January window, it will be interesting to see whether Barca make an another increased bid for the versatile defender.

A centre back has become a necessity for Barcelona, with an amoebic defensive line. Alex Song has been a liability now, and it won’t be surprising if Barcelona offload him to facilitate the transfer of Luiz. With Luiz having stated that he wants to play for the Catalans, it’s obvious that Barca need him and Luiz needs Barcelona.
