Top 5 North American players with the most PL goals
Since the inaugural Premier League competition in 1992/93, players from various parts of the world have competed, contested and celebrated the English game at its highest level.
A number of North American players have graced England's top-flight in various positions but only a few strikers have really made their mark there.
With football slowly growing prominence and gaining relevance across the continent, they are still in the early stages of development - although many countries within the region have produced some great players over the years.
Here, we take a look at the top five North American goalscorers in the Premier League:
#5: Robbie Earle - 45 goals
English-born Jamaican striker Robbie Earle began his professional career with fourth division side Port Vale in 1982. He spent nine years at the club, scoring 77 goals in 294 appearances while playing a part in two promotions at the club.
He secured a move to Wimbledon in 1991, spending nine seasons there before calling time on his career - having notched all his 45 Premier League goals during their spell in the top-flight.
He also made 33 international appearances for Jamaica, netting eight goals.
