Top 5 Premier League players expected to leave in this winter transfer window for a spot in their World Cup squad
The 2014 Brazil World Cup is right around the corner. There is no doubt that it will be a dream come true for any player to represent his country in the finest stage of all. And what if he don’t get enough chance to convince his manager to guarantee a spot in the squad? This is the case of a lot of players at the moment. The thing is that they don’t get enough chance to prove their manager’s that they worth some penny.
There are a lot of good players who are finding it difficult to get into their first team squads. For some it’s because they are out of form, for some its because of injury and for some others its because they are utilized not in their preferred position. Here lets take a look at some players in the premier league, who are having hard time in their respective clubs. The list look strong on paper as well as o the field. The list might go on and on. But these are the players whom I personally what to see in action in Brazil next year.
1. Juan Mata
Transfer linked with : PSG, VALENCIA
I don’t know what is in the mind of “The special one”. Who knows?? How can he bench a creative player like MATA? A player who was the master mind behind their victorious 2012 Uefa Champions league and 2013 Europa League campaign. In over 64 appearances for Chelsea last season he has scored 20 goals and assisted for another 35 goals. He can play as a Central attacking midfielder as well as a winger. But with Oscar, Hazard, Schurrle, Willian he was hardly used this season by Mourinho . If the rumors are true, he might be seen in the French champions PSG’s jersey next season. the 25 year old’s former club Valencia are also fighting for his signature. In order to guarantee a spot in Vincente Del Bosque’s team he need to move out from Chelsea which will be a heartbreaking moment for The Blues.
It will be difficult for him to find a place in the team with the likes of world class players like Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets, Fabregas, Santi Cazorla, Jesus Navas, Isco, David Silva, Koke etc. But lets hope for the best to happen.
