AC Milan to terminate Fernando Torres' loan deal?

Reports have emerged in recent days that AC Milan have become frustrated with Fernando Torres' inconsistent performances and are prepared to terminate his two year loan deal. As a result Torres would return to Chelsea but what happens to him then?

It's important to stipulate that these are only rumours at the moment and nothing has been confirmed by either club. If it was to be the case then surely it's a major blow for Torres and for Chelsea.
The two-year loan deal signed back in the summer looked like being exactly what Fernando Torres needed. However, five months into that deal, Torres has scored a single goal in ten appearances and it has not worked out.

Reports circulating around the media at the moment are stating that Chelsea are even willing to consider offloading Torres for FREE as long as whoever is interested are prepared to cover his wages, which as we know could be a real problem.
You cannot help but feel for Torres as his career has taken a real down turn in recent years. I honestly believed personally that <it was down to Chelsea's playing style that he struggled here as we had been primed to play up to Didier Drogba or a big man up top, rather than look for someone to make runs in behind. You only have to look at Diego Costa to see the difference and how he had flourished from the start here to see what I am talking about.

For Chelsea to take a hit on Torres and allow him to leave for nothing? That's a surprise if it happens as I believe Chelsea would prefer to send him out somewhere else on loan.
We have always wanted Fernando Torres to do well at Chelsea but it never really worked out. We then hoped that he would be able to find his form again in Italy but once again, it hasn't happened.
Let's hope that wherever he goes, it's third time lucky!
