In one of the best matches in the Premier League so far, Manchester United kept their nerves to win 1-0 away in the Wembley stadium to make it six wins from six since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, making him the first ever Manchester United manager to do so.

A match that is sure to be remembered for David de Gea's exploits, Manchester United scored in the 44th minute as Marcus Rashford slotted home an inch-perfect shot past Hugo Lloris after a superb ball over the top from Paul Pogba.

The rest of the match though was more of David de Gea saves as the Spaniard kept Tottenham Hotspurs attacks out almost single-handedly, more like with his feet. The Spurs attack found it impossible to get past the Spaniard as Manchester United got revenge over their 3-0 defeat at home.

The opening half of the match saw Tottenham and Manchester United playing end to end football as they tried to break the deadlock with lightning-quick football. Each attack from both the set of teams was followed up by a quick counter-attack.

The Manchester United trio of Lingard, Martial and Rashford looked extremely dangerous as their pace created lot of problems to the usually sound Tottenham defense. Long balls were launched by the United midfield and defense that continuously created problems.

Anthony Martial was the first to break the Tottenham defense as his direct style of play and sweet touch saw him bypassing defenders and trying to nick past Lloris only to see his shot fizzle out into the French keeper's gloves in the 15th minute.

The deadlock was finally broken as another searching ball from Paul Pogba saw the Spurs defense finally crumbling as Rashford pace proved too quick for Jan Vertonghen as the English striker glided past the Belgian to slot an incisive ball past Hugo Lloris into the Spurs goal to give Manchester United the lead towards the end of the first half at the 44th minute.
