Tottenham Hotspur eye move for Everton manager Roberto Martinez
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning an audacious move to bring Everton manager Roberto Martinez to White Hart Lane in the summer, as the club prepare for wholesale changes.
Tim Sherwood is currently in charge for the rest of the season, but has been under intense scrutiny after failing to deliver the desired results following a defeat to West Ham on the weekend. Spurs have had a miserable campaign, with Andre Villas-Boas sacked by the club in December and Sherwood being promoted to the job of looking after the team until of the season.
The former Tottenham midfielder has made it publicly known he wishes to continue as manager of the club next season, but Daniel Levy and co. are insisting they will recruit a new manager, with Roberto Martinez a possible target according to ESPN.
