The last time these two met at White Hart Lane, it ended in a 2-1 victory for Spurs, with Gareth Bale scoring both the goals.
Fans at White Hart Lane would be hoping for the same result, but given Spurs’s goal scoring form this season, they might find it tough.

Spurs have been playing dominant football this season, but after the transfer of the Welsh winger, they have failed to make the most of their possession, last week’s match against Everton is a clear example of it. For most period of play, Spurs had the ball, only to see the match ending in a stalemate. The onus, thus lies on Soldado and company to help their team clinch maximum points, this time around.

Newcastle United, on the other hand, are a team filled with confidence after their win against Mourinho’s Chelsea. Although, the White Hart Lane has not been a happy hunting ground for the Magpies as they had to depart with nothing from their last four visits and with the fact that Spurs’s defensive play has been an imposing feature this season, Newcastle might well find it difficult to score.
Alan Pardew, though, would be hoping that his team continues their form from last weekend.

This seasons has already seen some of the biggest upsets and the teams have been very unpredictable.
And, one never know, what Magpies has in store for Lilywhites. It promises to be an intriguing contest which might just raise a few eyebrows as well.

Team news:-
Spurs:-  Hugo Lloris will start the match, despite that mush debated concussion against Everton; while Danny Rose, Nacer Chadli, Emmanuel Adebayor and Sandro will fail to participate in the match due to injuries.

Newcastle United:- Fans would be anticipating to see the return of their captain Fabricio Coloccini, who might start the game; while, Cheick Tiote might also start who strained his muscle in the last match against Chelsea.
