Tottenham pitch invaders threaten to strike again at Emirates Stadium or Stamford Bridge
The internet pranksters who invaded White Hart lane in the Europa League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Partizan Belgrade have threatened to repeat their acts again at other future games in London. The Europa League match was suspended by four minutes because of three different pitch invasions before half-time.
The challenge to stay the longest on the ground
A UEFA investigation is likely to happen against Tottenham because of the interruption in play that took place after the Ukrainian referee took both the teams off the pitch. Three different men stormed onto the ground at separate occasions, wearing T-shirts with the name BasBuds – a headphone manufacturing firm linked with Spurs and six other English clubs. They were arrested by the police after their antics on the ground and are being interrogated.
It has been reported by the Guardian that TrollstationUK, a clan of pranksters who upload proofs of their practical jokes, has taken resposibilty for the act and also have posted a video, wherein they plan to invade the ground before the match.
Gomes Garcia, an actor and comedian as per his Twitter account, remarks in the video saying, “Today we’re going to see who lasts longest on the pitch.”
The video reveals how the three talk about their plan and the manner in which they broke the pitchside security to enter the pitch. It also shows how they evaded capture for quite some time and ran around clicking selfies with players.
Arsenal or Chelsea Next?
However, it is unlikely that Thursday’s accomplishments might not be the last target for the group. TrollStation posted a tweet in the early hours of Friday morning which read as a warning:
The tweet suggests that the group still has other pranks planned in the future. Another message followed the tweet which stated: “FREE @GomesAHTV @NathanAHTV @BMWjarvo” in reference to the invaders.
