Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City Preview: UEFA Champions League Match Preview, Where to watch and more
In what promises to be a cracking all-English affair, Manchester City travel to Tottenham Hotspur for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final encounters. Tottenham secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, their first in the newly constructed White Hart Lane, whereas City booked their place in the 2019 FA Cup Final with a 1-0 win over Brighton during the weekend.
The Lilywhites aim to secure an advantage in the first leg of the European clash as they hope to build on their victory against Palace. Both Fernando Llorente and Harry Winks look set to return to the matchday squad after recovering from concussion and hip injury respectively. Pochettino will head into the game without the services of Serge Aurier, Erik Lamela (both hamstring) and Eric Dier (hip) as they continue to recover from their respective injuries.
Manchester City have been handed a massive injury boost as Sergio Aguero and Fabian Delph resumed training on Sunday. The Citizens go into this game without Zinchenko and Walker, both missing through hamstring injuries. Pep Guardiola would like his side to come out with the all-important victory as The Citizens set their sights on a semi-final spot.
The last encounter between these two sides saw City secure a 1-0 away win, with Mahrez scoring the winner in the 6th minute of the game.

Key Players
Tottenham Hotspur: Harry Kane
England and Spurs striker Harry Kane has not been at his best after returning from injury. Despite disappointing against the likes of Burnley, Southampton, and Liverpool, Kane will play a very vital role in his side's quarter-final clash versus Manchester City.
Kane's physicality, link-up play and predator instincts need to be on point as he faces a strong defensive line up comprising of the likes of Laporte, Stones, and Kompany. The England international needs to make the best of the opportunities he gets and be ruthless in front of goal as City will most likely dominate possession and chances may come few and far for Spurs.
Man City will need to keep an eye on the striker as an in-form Kane is enough to punish even the slightest of mistakes.
Manchester City: Bernardo Silva
Bernardo Silva has been one of City’s standout performers in a season where Pep Guardiola’s side are well placed to win the quadruple. His ability to play anywhere across the front line has helped City to a great extent during the absence of Sane, De Bruyne or David Silva.
Silva’s creativity, ability to play in between the lines and drive from midfield will be key when City come up against a well organized and resolute Tottenham defense. The Portuguese International would look to add to his impressive tally of 11 goals and 9 assists as his side look to come away with a win and important away goal(s).
