Luis Suarez leaving Liverpool for European glory?

Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez has said that despite being happy in Liverpool, he will consider offers from other Champions League clubs.

Liverpool manager Brendon Rodgers could not be more happy as Suarez has been at the top of his game, having made 40 appearances and scoring a remarkable 29 goals this season.

Suarez has a deal with the Reds that sees him staying at Anfield till 2017, but the striker has admitted that the club is in a “difficult moment” as it is in danger of of missing out on Europe.

Following his international duties against Paraguay, Suarez said “I am very happy at Liverpool but you never know in football. A player’s ambition is always there, the ambition of wanting to play in elite teams is always there.” European giants Bayern Munich and Juventus have shown interest to sign the 26 year old lethal striker.

Regarding the issue of a possible exit from the Merseyside club, he said “I’m in a world-class team, an elite team like Liverpool. If another team comes around with more prospects of competing in international club competition games, which is willing to have me, they are welcome.”

He says that he is also disappointed with his on-field antics, which has “let him down at times during his career”, but he has made a conscious effort to change all that. He went on to say “I have a very strange way of playing football. There are times that I get yellow cards that can influence a game. I have improved and I have to continue improving.”
