Transfer news and rumours of the day: 2nd July, 2016
Welcome to our daily transfer rumours round-up. As always, we’ve been going through the newspapers and websites this morning to complie the best transfer rumours for you. Manchester United have completed the signing of a Bundesliga superstar, whilst Real Madrid have no interest to sign a certain Premier League star.
Tottenham officials are in Italy to conduct negotiations for a Serie A striker, and Liverpool are still trying to complete a deal for a Polish midfielder.
Here are the transfer rumours doing the rounds on July 2nd:
Serie A
- Udinese have rejected a bid from Liverpool for Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski, reports Liverpool Echo. The Reds offer of £11.75m was turned down, but an identical bid from Napoli has been accepted. The player has made it clear that he wants to sign for Liverpool, and has already rejected Napoli.
- According to Gianluca di Marzio, Inter Milan skipper Mauro Icardi is subject of interest from Tottenham. It is reported representatives of the North London club are already in Milan to meet Icardi’s agent, and are also ready to offer €45m for the player.
- Watford are interested in signing Argentine star Roberto Pereyra. The Premier League side have already submitted an offer of €15m for the player, whilst Juventus are holidng out for €16m, reports Mondo Udinese.
