- According to reports on Sky Sports, Arsenal’s Wojciech Szczesny, who had been on loan with Roma last season, is looking for another season at the club. This does not come as a surprise as Petr Cech and David Ospina are clearly the favourites to be chosen over him at Arsenal. He had made 45 appearances for the Serie A side and had also made it to the Polish Euro squad.
- According to reports on Gazzetta Dello Sport, Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic is almost done with a move to Juventus. The player’s representatives had apparently made a statement about the move earlier but the 26-year-old had refused to comment. It was also reported that Roma director Mauro Baldissoni had confirmed the deal on an Italian radio as well.
- Valencia midfielder Andres Gomez is the latest target for Juventus for the upcoming transfer window, reports La Gazzetta Della Sport. The Serie A champions had been active in the transfer market since January and are rumoured to have already entered into negotiations with the Spanish side to discuss the details of the move. Club director Giuseppe Marotta is reportedly directly involved in the deal.
