Transfer news and rumours of the day: 19th July, 2016
Welcome to our daily transfer rumours round-up. Real Madrid are inching closer to sign Portuguese playmaker in coming days after agreeing to a €65m deal.
As for the mandatory Paul Pogba update, United are waiting to complete his signing before revealing the squad numbers for next season.
On that note, here are the transfer rumours doing the rounds on July 19th.
Serie A
- Lazio are nearing an agreement for Benfica defender Jardel, according to reports from Football Italia. The Biancocelesti will pay €7m to the Portuguese club and €1.5m per season to the player, which has been agreed by the 31-year old defender.
- Juventus have reportedly agreed a deal to sign the highly rated Dinamo Zagreb playmaker Marko Pjaca. According to Sky Sports, the player will join Juventus for a total of €23m and will be unveiled as a Juve player in coming days.
- Torino have officially unveiled Adem Ljajic and Iago Falque as the new summer signings. The duo arrived from AS Roma after completing their medical yesterday. Elsewhere, Genoa have officially confirmed the signing of Lazio defender Santiago Gentiletti.
